Rita Mae Brown says that a writer needs the weight of one cat to serve a number of purposes. Here is mine, before unpacking from my move last December:
I have always written. I wrote my first short story when I was seven years old, and I've just never stopped.
I've done many things for a living, and I believe that each experience I've had along the way has only served to enhance my ability to write.
I've had a few short stories and personal essays published. I've written a YA novel, for which I am seeking a home. I am also working on my second YA novel.
