Waxworks was published in the June, 2005 issue of the Los Angeles Journal. I was thrilled that they published it with artwork. I've reproduced it as it appeared in The Journal on my own web page. They were quite liberal in their edits of it:
I have always written. I wrote my first short story when I was seven years old, and I've just never stopped.
I've done many things for a living, and I believe that each experience I've had along the way has only served to enhance my ability to write.
I've had a few short stories and personal essays published. I've written a YA novel, for which I am seeking a home. I am also working on my second YA novel.
